Daisy Dagg, Losing My Self-identity
Sunday Dec 18, 2022
Sunday Dec 18, 2022
Thank you very much to everyone who has supported DediKate and Kate Ivey Fitness in 2022. It's been a fabulous year and we are excited for what is in store for 2023!
On the last episode for 2022, Kate chats to NZ household name, Daisy Dagg. Daisy is married to former All Black Izzy Dagg, she is a cook, has published 2 cookbooks and is a mother to two young children.
Daisy didn't have much time so we got straight into her challenges - motherhood, her husbands struggle with mental health and her own health. Essentially all tied in with Daisy losing her self-identity - something so many of us can relate to.
It's a fabulous episode, I know you're all going to enjoy it!

Sunday Dec 11, 2022
Sunday Dec 11, 2022
Today Kate chats to the incredible Emily Riggs. Emily is the founder and creative director of Australian Merino Wool fashion label, Iris & Wool. Our podcast theme is about overcoming challenges to achieve great things and Emily's story is one of triumph over tragedy.
When Emily was just 10 years old she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Shortly after her diagnosis, her mother lost her own battle, passing away from breast cancer aged 43.
Through her most difficult days, Emily turned to fashion for comfort and to express her creative flair. And in 2019 she founded Iris & Wool from the merino farm she and her husband with their two young children run, in Burra South Australia.

Brodie Kane, A Question Answering Session That Reveals A Bit Of Everything!
Sunday Nov 13, 2022
Sunday Nov 13, 2022
Brodie Kane is a NZ media personality and the owner of her own media company. Because she has her own podcast, is a producer of podcasts and has been featured on many, I wanted this one to be a bit different. So today Brodie answers questions from our DediKate members and some more from her mum, Jo Kane.
These questions lead to so many insights and interesting topics, that we didn't even get time for her rock bottom and challenges, next time.
Brodie is an awesome person, and after this episode I like her even more than before. She is nuggety, hard working, a good time and insightful. You will enjoy this one!

Sunday Nov 06, 2022
Sunday Nov 06, 2022
In this episode Kate chats to the wonderful Jackie Elliott. Kate met Jackie just a few weeks ago in Victoria for the Rural Women's Day Event, and what an event it was!
Jackie founded the event and held the very first one in 2019. Like DediKate was born out of Kate's own struggles, so too was Rural Women’s Day for Jackie.
Jackie shares with us her rock bottom and inspires us to give things a go, get out of your comfort zone, not worry about what others think and back yourself.
